Paper TitleI Ching and its dialectical views on the functionality of conflict
Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to examine "I Ching," the Chinese book of change, and reveal its dialectical views regarding the functionality of conflict. By reviewing and analyzing ideas and concepts such as "contradition," "yin and yang,' and the "unity of opposites" contained in the Chinese book of change, the author demonstrates how conflicts are viewed in "I Ching" and how the functionality of conflict is considered. From the viewpoint of "I Ching," the paper further discusses the dialectics of conflict in the process of bringing forth changes in the universe.
