Typing accent marks in a Windows environment:
Use the following key combinations to type accent marks and tildes:Hold down the Alt key while you type the complete number combination.
The character will appear on the screen when you release the Alt key.
You must use the number in the keypad (placed at the keyboard's right hand side).
The numbers on top of the keyboard do not reproduce the international characters.
