Center for Predictive Medicine groundbreaking

Construction will begin soon on UofL's Center for Predictive Medicine. This biosafety lab facility will become reality thanks to a $21 million grant from the National Institutes of Health. Researchers here will study new diseases and look for ways to prevent, control and treat them.

During the groundbreaking ceremony, three students from Zachary Taylor Elementary School read essays they wrote following a visit from UofL researcher Eugenia Wang.
