Scott McCloud is the creator of the superhero comic series “Zot” and one of the foremost comics arts educators in the United States. He is the author of the influential study “Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art” (1993), “Reinventing Comics” (2000) and, most recently, “Making Comics” (2006). His books not only are works of comics scholarship, they also are comics themselves.
